Appearances and Habits

Wearing makeup, perfume and jewellery to work.

Leaving nails and hair uncut.
Bad habits such as:
  • Use of tobacco
  • Spitting
  • Rubbing
  • Picking the nose, ears, pimples or boils
  • Licking their fingers
  • Eating while working or just eating or chewing gum in the kitchen area.
All of these habits can potentially contaminate your food with hazardous germs (bacteria and/or viruses).

  1. Zipei : you may include that workers should tie up their hair and wear a hair net to prevent contamination . and Clips and hair pins are not allowed as it may unintentionally fall into food product and become hazardous.
you may also include no smoking as Cigarette ends may drop into the food and the ends contaminated with saliva may be placed on the work bench.
